NLSIU Benglauru is the top-ranked law school in India. Only a handful of law aspirants get a seat among the thousands who strive for it. But exactly how difficult is it to get into NLSIU Bengaluru? NLU Preferences of Candidates

NLSIU Bengaluru often figures as the first choice when candidates submit their NLU preference list. The more applicants vying for a seat, the harder it will be to obtain admission. In CLAT 2025, around 60544 candidates had appeared for CLAT UG exam, and 14817 candidates had appeared for CLAT PG exam.

Number of Seats at NLSIU Bengaluru

The more the number of seats, the lower the NLS Bangalore admission cut-off will be, making it that much easier for candidates to get into NLSIU Bengaluru. Last year, NLSIU had increased its seat intake to over 300 seats. As a result, the NLS Bengaluru CLAT cut-off rank for the general category had gone above 100. This year, the university is also providing 10 additional seats for Karnataka students.

CLAT 2025 Reservation Criteria for NLSIU Bengaluru

The CLAT cut-off 2025 for NLSIU Bengaluru will be lower for the reserved category, making it easier for such candidates to get a seat.

How Hard Is It To Get a Seat at NLSIU Bengaluru?

Getting a seat at NLSIU Bengaluru is not easy. NLSIU Bengaluru often has the highest cut-off among the participating NLUs in CLAT. General candidates must score 100+ marks for a strong chance of admission. The CLAT cut-off marks for NLSIU vary between 85 to 100+ marks across different categories.
