Analysing Shift in CLAT Rank After Gaining 2 Marks

The tables above show that for CLAT rank 100 to 1000 the shift in rank in the revised result is between 100 to 300 ranks indicating a less dramatic change. However, for CLAT ranks 5000 to 20000, the shift in rank due to the revised result is between 1000 to 1800 ranks. This indicates that the margins are very small at lower ranks due to higher competition at that level. Even a small difference of 2 marks can make or break a candidate’s chances of obtaining an NLU seat.
